Dawson Jones Trio!

Dawson Jones is a professional musician and educator based in Kansas City, with a passion for both performance and teaching. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Jazz Performance from Missouri State University and a Master of Arts in Music from the University of Missouri–Kansas City Conservatory. A versatile performer, Dawson plays vibraphone, piano, and organ, and has shared the stage with acclaimed jazz artists including Bobby Watson, Benny Green, and Terrell Stafford. His love for jazz began in high school, inspired by legendary musicians such as Art Tatum, Bill Evans, Gary Burton, and Milt Jackson. For the past five years, he has taught private piano lessons in the Kansas City area, helping students of all ages grow in skill and confidence.
