KCKCC Jazz Showcase!

Kansas City Kansas Community College has earned a national reputation for musical excellence. KCKCC students and ensembles have earned 67 DownBeat Magazine Student Music Awards since 2017 – over twice as many as any other community college in the country. KCKCC instrumental and vocal jazz ensembles have performed at the Jazz Education Network and American Choral Directors Association national conferences, along with earning outstanding ensemble honors at the Elmhurst University and Wichita State University Jazz Festivals. Join us in a celebration of the KCKCC’s past, present, and future, featuring the Jazz program's outstanding faculty, its award-winning Advanced Jazz Combo, alumni and special guests!
