Charles Williams

“I had a desire years ago to learn about tuning pianos, but time didn’t permit. The class was very exciting to me - I could hardly wait to be there and learn on site with Steve and the other students. I’ve played piano professionally for over 50 years but I learned so much from piano tuning class about my instrument that I didn’t know all this time!”

—CHARLES WILLIAMS

“It has been a goal of mine for a few years now to learn to tune pianos. This hands-on class opened up my mind to how much finesse and expertise goes into building a quality piano as well as the knowledge needed to work on and tune pianos. I have a good framework to work from now and know the right tools to acquire, as well as the process to achieve success as a piano tuner.”

“I never learned how to play the piano even though I’ve grown up with music in my life. The piano has always fascinated me. Steve provided the opportunity to get my hands on pianos and start applying the things I had been learning. I learned a lot about the practical side of working with pianos from Steve. He will be a great mentor as I move forward in my piano education.”
